1- the whole cast is brazilian. this is a brazilian Netflix production (the first one). this is the beginning for other brazilian productions
2- not only the show speaks up about poverty and the huge gap we have as a society but also about accessibility
3- because one of the main characters is a disabled man in a wheelchair that doesn’t need saving
4- so. many. poc. jesus so many
5- you can see all kinds of different people, really reflecting what Brazil is made of: miscegenation
plus the idea for the series was born with to two students at USP (São Paulo’s University) and it’s about a dystopic world - a scifi thriller
